A unique find from the 1960s/1970s. This example of the popular "Wise Old Owl" pendants makes a statement. It has an articulating construction in three pieces - the head, the body, and the tail - and measures 12cm long and 6.5cm wide. The body is adorned with white glass marquis-cut (15mm by 7mm) "feathers" set in goldtone frames. The 1cm white glass cabochon eyes, also in goldtone frames, move freely. The beautiful openwork frame is in a blend of textured and polished goldtone finishes. Suspended on a 60cm double chain, one cable chain and one prince of wales chain, fastens with one spring ring closure. Very gently used, this piece is in excellent vintage condition.
