You are buying a 9 3/4? tall ORIGINAL DISNEY DONALD DUCK COOKIE JAR CIRCA 1930s-40s. This piece is marked with the authentic Disney Donald Duck mark on the bottom. This yellow ware type pottery is heavy. This piece has hand painted water base painted decoration. The paint on this piece is all original no touch ups. These cookie jars all have water base paints that can not be soaked when washed because it will dissolve the paint. If you want you could remove the paint and restore with matching paint. The condition is good no chips, or cracks, including lid and top rim. There is some hand painted paint loss but all original. You can easlly restore the hand painting if you choose. The paints and matching colors are easily found in a Walmart or craft store. There are a few glaze spots losses. These are in the manufacture and not damage or wear issues. There is one fairly large glaze loss pot on the back (see picture #4).
