Mohr has also practiced the penmanship "G" of his signature six times on one page of the script. Mohr played the part of Hugo in the radio play and also did the narration. This radio version of "One Sunday Afternoon" is based on the 1933 Broadway play by James Hagan, which was also the source for the 1933 film starring Gary Cooper and Fay Wray. The theme of the play and film revolves around a middle-aged dentist who reminiscences about his unrequited love for a beautiful woman and his former friend who betrayed him and married her. There are also two more films in 1941 and 1948 based on the play by director Raoul Walsh. Gerald Mohr's autograph is quite scarce. Gerald Mohr (1914-1968) was an actor in television, film and radio, appearing in over 500 radio plays. With his baritone voice, he was ideal for radio and in 1949 "Radio and Television Life" magazine named him the Best Male Actor on Radio. 26 pages printed on rectos only 8 1/2" by 11" Corner stapled PLEASE VIEW OUR STORE FOR MORE GREAT ITEMS THANKS!
