Item description

The Saturday Evening Post 2 oz American Numismatic Association Proof Silver 12-Piece Set. Norman Rockwell's The Saturday Evening Post is a bimonthly magazine with an amazing history that dates back to the late 19th century. The magazine is still in circulation and features articles on current events, editorials, human interest, humor, illustrations, and more. This set includes 12 rounds that feature these Post cover issues: “Redhead Loves Hatty” (Sept. 16, 1916), “The Debate” (Oct. 9, 1920), “No Swimming” (June 4, 1921), “Setting One's Sights” (Aug. 19, 1922),, “Santa's Helpers” (Dec. 2, 1922), "Tackled” (Nov. 21, 1925), “Sunset” (April 24, 1926), “The Critic” (July 21, 1928), “Doctor And Doll” (March 9, 1929), “The Cold” (Jan. 23, 1937), “After The Prom” (May 25, 1957), and “Triple Self Portrait” (Feb. 13, 1960) The reverse features the ANA lamp logo centered with weight and purity present on the rims. These Official Commemorative Proof coins are presented by the American Numismatic Association (ANA) and come displayed in a large wooden plaque.
