Nolpaza Control contains the active substance pantoprazole, which blocks the pump that makes stomach acid. This reduces the amount of stomach acid. Nolpaza Control is used for the short-term treatment of symptoms of reflux (such as heartburn and acid regurgitation) in adults. Reflux is the backflow of stomach acid into the esophagus, which can become inflamed and painful. This can cause symptoms such as a painful burning sensation behind the sternum (heartburn) that rises up to the throat and a sour taste in the mouth (acid regurgitation). The symptoms of acid reflux and heartburn may disappear after the first day of taking Nolpaza Control, but this medicine is not intended to give immediate relief. The tablets may need to be taken for 2 to 3 days in a row to reduce symptoms. If you do not feel better or worse after two weeks, you should consult your doctor.
