Chard Necklace Pendant with removable cord 17.5" long braided deep rose-colored Cord 925 silver Clasp This unique necklace was made from an antique pottery chard hand-crafted at an unknown time into a pendant with a silver loop clasp on a deep rose colored woven cord. The chard history was conveyed by the original owner as being from the Ming dynasty in China which lasted until 1644 but no other verification of the chard's date or the date of it's being made into a pendant is available or has been determined. The chard is encased in a silver colored metal casing (which could be tin, silver or another metal) with tarnishing on the top rim of the casing and has signs of having been hand-crafted to fit around around the rim. A 1.5" vintage caramel colored bead was used with an attached green colored stone/bead which is wrapped with a green leather thong that is wrapped again with wire which was used to create the loop for the cord at the top of the pendant. It is unknown if that wire is silver. The clasp is stamped 925 silver. Combo shipping is also available.
