This handcrafted mask is a life-size limited edition piece. This mask represents an individual who lived between 1800 and 1850. His face paint was his signature, all could be identified from a great distance. The mask is paired with pelts and beads that would have been available in the area of North American where this man lived. The face is ceramic, the eyes are life-like, and the pelts are all natural. This ceramic wall hanging depicts the image (the face paint, breast plate, etc) of the individual that the artist is describing, this one is the Comanche Indian Warrior. This piece is hand painted and set in the appropriate pelt with feathers, trimmings and beads. This beautiful piece of art measures approx 14" wide and about 60" long.
