Was the third NASA orbiter to be built. It first launched August 30, 1984 and remained in service for more than 27 years. Among its many accomplishments was the work done on the International Space Station and carrying the Hubble Space Telescope into orbit. The sheets contain detailed laser etching for easy removal and when completed measures 4.5" x 2.8" x 2.3" with moderate difficulty and is a 1:355 scale kit. Complete instructions are included to show you how to pop out the pieces, bend the tabs, and connect them at the attachment points with an average assembly time of 30-45 minutes.
