This is a Motorola IHF1700m (music) carkit harness - for a Motorola IHF1700m carkit. This harness features the 18pin connector to the later versions of the IHF Electronic Control Unit (the blue box is about 2x6 inches, as opposed to the earlier style of IHF1000 which used a 4x6inch ECU with a 32pin connector). The IHF1700music carkit supported Bluetooth Audio streaming and control (A2DP and AVRCP) and was sold to Toyota and Volvo in Europe. The harness features the RCA left and right audio output connections from the IHF1700m ECU that can be connected to the aux input on a stereo. It also has the 8pin Molex connector for connection to handsfree integration harnesses from Peripheral / PAC audio, KRAM, Nicestuff and Cellsite, among others. Use this harness to replace a damaged one in your vehicle, to start fresh on an install to move your IHF1700m bluetooth carkit into another vehicle, or to piece together your own IHF1700m carkit system.
