Item description

Mint Chocolate Trinket Dish German Vintage 1940s - Modern Bon Bon in Sage Green and Dark Flowing Browns 'Mint ice cream with chocolate sauce' best describes the colors of this German-made triangular trinket dish. The chocolate brown melts into the pastel mint - what great dish to hide candies or your treasures! Both the lid and the base dish are a triangular shape. It is about 5-1/4 inches (14.5 cm) wide and 4-1/2 inches (11 cm) tall (including the knob). On the bottom it is impressed with 'Germany 205' and 'Germany' printed This trinket dish is in great condition: no chips, flakes, cracks, repairs, glaze crazing. The colors are good and the lid fits well. It was made in the late 1940s and has a distinctly modern appearance. Very pleasing and would look great as a display piece on your coffee table. The usual base wear on bottom. Some gilt missing where lid meets the body. Tippy top of handle worn Marked Germany # 205 6" wide x 5" to top of lift handle.
