Before applying Meguair's Hybrid Paint Coating you will need to prepare your paint. Do not apply in temperatures below 60F/15C. Always work in the shade on a cool, clean and dry surface. Not recommended for glass/windows. Before applying the coating, wash and dry the vehicle. For optimal performance/durability, decontaminate the paint as necessary and complete paint correction to remove swirls and defects or to add gloss. How to apply Meguiar's Hybrid Paint Coating: After preparing the vehicle, mist the included M122 Surface Prep onto a 3 ft. by 3 ft. section at a time. Allow to dwell for 1 minute then wipe off with a clean microfiber towel. Repeat this process over the entire vehicle to prepare the paint surface for coating. Spray Hybrid Paint Coating directly onto the included applicator for 3 seconds, evenly coating the applicators surface. Place pad face down on the paint and spread in a cross-hatch or ("X") pattern with 50% overlapping passes to ensure complete, even coverage in a 2 ft. x 2 ft. section. Repeat this process to cover one full panel at a time, i.e. a door. After applying Hybrid Paint Coating to the entire panel, wipe off excess using one of the induded microfiber towels folded into 1/8ths. Using small circular motions, remove the excess product from the panel, flipping to a clean side of the towel for the final wipe. In temperatures below 73F/23C, allow the product to sit for 1 minute before removal. Repeat this process to coat the entire vehicle.
