Masked Barn Owls Art Poster Print 14 x 18 in This illustration titled, Masked Barn Owl, was drawn by English artist Elizabeth Gould. It was one of a series of illustrations she created for her husband, ornithologist John Gould's 1840 edition of Birds of Australia. Elizabeth Gould was born in England in 1804. Her work as an artist was admired by many, and she illustrated several of the species collected by naturalist Charles Darwin during his travels, for his book, Zoology of the Voyage of H.M.S. Beagle.
