Item description
MARY ROBERTS RINEHART'S
MYSTERY BOOK
Containing Three of Her Most Famous Mystery Novels:
The Circular Staircase; The Man in Lower Ten; and The Case of Jenny Brice.
New York: Rinehart Company, Inc., (1947).
From the library of mystery author and critic, Dorothy B. Hughes-- with her signature to the front endpaper.
First edition: Review copy with the publisher's slip laid in.
Lower front cover carelessly bumped with creased impressions of varying degree throughout to the lower corner of the text block and rear cover, and a thin line of paper adhering to the spine edge (see photo), otherwise about very good; in a good only age-toned dust jacket missing pieces at the upper spine, and two tears and a small piece missing from the lower spine.
Front flap price of $3.00 intact.
The author re-edited these three classics for this edition.
Octavo. 442 pages.
NOTE: We will
place the dust jacket in a new clear Brodart sleeve to protect from further damage and
enhance it's appearance.
Easily removed if not desired.
