This is a Caroline Harrison doll, part of the First Lady Doll Collection series, from Madame Alexander (#1424) dating to circa 1985-1987. This beauty has medium brown hair and blue sleepy eyes (that open when she is upright and close when laying down). She comes with her complete wardrobe, original box, original pink tissue paper, cardboard, hang hand tag and uncompleted Official Collector Registration. She is dressed in her original and complete outfit of a beautiful ball gown in light blue and silver. Her outfit is completed with nylons (natural colored tights), shoes, bloomers, and a petticoat slip. Her hair is gracefully seen in an updo. On the back of her neck is impressed Alexander 1985 (with copyright symbol between 19 and 85). She is about 14" tall. The tag on the back of the doll’s clothing reads Caroline Harrison -Madame Alexander - Made in USA. The original price tag of $126.99 is on her foot and hand tag. This is in great pre-owned vintage condition that is in near new condition. She looks like she came off the shelf yesterday with no damage or excessive wear at all as she had obviously been safeguarded in her box or a display case. The box shows very mild signs of storage wear. The box has the incorrect doll of Mrs. McKee marked when should have the spot above of Mrs. Harrison marked but is otherwise in very good condition. The doll herself is in near new condition and does come with all the clothing and packaging previously mentioned.
