Mid Century Modern Libbey Gold Band Blown Glass Carafe and 4 Juice Glasses Circa 1950's. For sale is a Mid Century Libbey Glass Safedge Gold Band Carafe and 4 Juice Glasses circa 1950?s. The glasses and carafe are in very good, pre owned condition. The pieces are clear and free of chips/cracks. There is some gold loss to the rims of the glasses, but the decorative banding is in very good condition. The carafe has several tiny black specks on the base (photo #3).They are impurities in the glass which occured at time of manufacture. Please see photos for details on each pieces condition. The decorative band is in an oval dot chain link design and thickly applied in bright yellow gold. The carafe holds about ounces and the glasses hold about ounces. The carafe measures 7 1/2"H x 5"W and holds at least 32 ounces. The tumblers measure 3"H x 2 1/8"W and hold at least 4 ounces. *As these are vintage/antique items, some may have condition issues due to age, handling, etc. I am not an expert.
