Antique Cabinet Card Photograph. Identified in period handwriting as Lulu E. Brooks, Class of 1885 (Somerville High School, Somerville, Massachusetts.) Her birthdate is also written on back as March 27, 1866. Additional on-line research indicates her full name was Lucy "Lulu" Ella Brooks. Photo by Hardy Studio, Boston. Measures approximately 4.25 x 6.5 including mount. Condition: This is an original photograph, not a copy or reproduction. It is in excellent condition. Comments: This photograph came with a large group of high school graduation portraits (sold individually) all dated "Class of 1885" and taken by the Hardy Studio of Boston. Some of them refer to the high school as "S.H.S." and from on-line research we have been able to establish it as Somerville High School of Somerville, Massachusetts.
