It has been very gently handled. The book has no remainder mark, no internal markings and no unpleasant odor. The book has a previous owner's blind stamp on the first title page of the book (pictured). It is a colorless stamp, with indentions into the paper. This is really the only notable flaw that the book has. The pages of the book are clean, bright and mark free. The outside page edges have extremely light/very little soiling and no foxing whatsoever. The binding of the book is tight and the boards are in great shape. The decorative endpapers, both front and rear, are clean and mark free. The unclipped dust jacket is in great condition - no tears, rips or chips. The jacket shows only extremely minor shelf wear, and is clean to the touch. It is sticker free and sticker residue free. This is an extremely nice clean first edition first printing copy with the only notable flaw being the aforementioned and pictured previous owner's marks on the first title page.
