Item description

THIS IS NIXON: THE MAN AND HIS WORK by James Keogh G.P. Putnam's Sons, 1956 First Paperback Edition Condition: Very Good This was among the first biographies of Richard Nixon, written during his first term as Vice President under Eisenhower. The author went on to serve as President Nixon's head speechwriter. so you know this "Intimate Portrait" was very favorable toward its subject. This paperback edition was published about the same time as the hardback, both by Putnam. There are eight pages of photos. This copy has some flaking on the front cover, reading creases on and by the spine and some additional modest exterior wear. Though the pages are age-toned, the interior is otherwise excellent. A tight, unmarked copy.
