This vintage cup and saucer is Number 10 in the Birthday Floral Series by Kasuga Ware Made in Japan. The pattern is Cosmos. It made of a bone china porcelain. It does have gold trim that is worn in spots. There are some discoloration spots on the edges due to age and use. The saucer measures approximately 5 1/2 inches across, and the cup stands approximately 2 7/8 inches tall, and measures approximately 3 3/8 inches across the top. Both the cup and saucer are marked: Kasuga Ware, Fine China, Japan, Birthday Floral Series, Cosmos, No. 5, Hand Painted. It would date circa 1960s. When properly packaged, it will ship at a 2 pound rate.
