Just Good Friends: Series 1 and 2 DVD (2004) Paul Nicholas cert PG Title: Just Good Friends: Series 1 and 2 Leading Actor: Paul Nicholas Format: DVD / Normal Type: DVD Studio / Publisher: Universal Pictures UK Release Date: 24 May 2004 All fourteen episodes from the first two seasons of the comedy series about the problematic relationship between Vince (Paul Nicholas), an East End bookmaker, and Penny Warrender (Jan Francis), an upmarket girl from Chipping Ongar. In 'After All This Time', Penny and Vince are reunited after five years. Last time they saw each other was just before Vince left Penny standing at the altar, so he's got some explaining to do. In 'Hello Again', Vince tracks Penny down at her new home, but runs into her mother. In 'Let's Spend the Night Together', Vince tries to persuade Penny to stay the night with him - but when she hears the lyrics to a Cat Steven song she changes her mind. 'Fatherly Advice' sees Vince consulting his father about how to win Penny back. Meanwhile, Penny is getting the lowdown on her mother's love life. In 'I Don't Want to See You Again', Vince asks Penny to move in with him - but how will they break it to her parents? In 'Happy Birthday Penny', Penny decides to tell her parents that she's moving in with Vince as they celebrate her birthday. In 'Moving In and Out Again', Penny finally moves in with Vince but their co-habiting only lasts a day or two, as Penny decides to move back home after burglars break in to Vince's flat. 'Guilt' sees Vince drowning his sorrows after Penny leaves him to move back home. In 'Another Man', Penny tries to make Vince jealous by 'accidentally' calling him by another man's name. In 'Meeting Penny's Husband', Vince and Penny go out to dinner with Penny's ex-husband, Graham, who tries to blackmail the couple with photographs in order to speed their divorce along. In 'Caught on a Shoulder Strap', Penny comes to the wrong conclusion after seeing Vince and the bride together at a friend's wedding. In 'Farewell Holiday', Vince gives Penny a surprise holiday at the family's new villa in Portugal. In 'Pregnant', Penny confides in Vince that she suspects she may be pregnant. But the old problem arises: how do they tell Penny's parents? 'Goodbye Again' sees Penny bidding farewell to Vince as she heads off to study in Paris.
