This is the first volume in the series, and Applewood published both #1 The Vanishing Shadow and #2 The Haunted Attic in this format in 1994. This book has the first edition numberline. Later, in 2008, Applewood published the Bolton series in paperback, not to be confused with their short-run hard cover with original artwork and dust jacket. Book and jacket are in excellent condition, but see pictures - there are faint tiny spots on the top page block. Book otherwise looks and feels as if it's never been opened. Lovely book.
