Although we are not able to directly connect Joseph to the Goodrich genealogy below, an online search revealed he was serving as the city auditor of West Newbury, MA in 1908 and resided in Newburyport. Comments: An online search of the genealogy of the Goodrich family begins with David Lufkin Goodrich (1809-1893), born in Newbury, Massachusetts and died in West Newbury. He was married to Susan Robinson Currier (1810-1883). Their children included Horace Mahan Goodrich (1839-1922), Granville Spencer Goodrich (1842-1918) and James Bartlett Goodrich (1844-1930).
