Item description

FLORENTINE PALACES AND THEIR STORIES by Janet Ross Illustrations by Adelaide Marchi J.M. Dent Co., London, 1905, First Edition Condition: About Very Good Author Ross provides short histories of the many palaces that have been built over the centuries in Florence, Italy. 410 pages, including 29 full-page illustrations by Marchi and an Index. Moderate sunning of the spine, some light fading on the front cover, bumps on cover corners and back cover edge, some small interior staining and corner creases, binding stitches visible in gutter of a few pages (but binding is secure), light erasures and abrasion on front end papers. Still, a decent copy of a book that will be a valuable addition to any collection of Italian history.
