Item description

STILL SEALED! Music composed by Michel Legrand. Film stars John Sturges, Rock Hudson, Ernest Borgnine, Patrick McGoohan, Jim Brown, Tony Bill, Lloyd Nolan, Alf Kjellin, Gerald S. O'Loughlin. MCA Classics Series 25017 stereo LP record album. Re-release of 1968 recording. Condition: Record is sealed, unplayed, in mint condition. Cover is VG++ (cw). Comments: Ice Station Zebra was released on October 23, 1968. The film became a major hit, which gave a much needed boost to Rock Hudson's flagging career. The plot has parallels to events reported in news stories from April 1959, concerning a missing experimental CORONA satellite capsule (Discoverer II) that inadvertently landed near Spitsbergen, situated in the Arctic Ocean on April 13 which was believed to have been recovered by Soviet agents.
