Factory Sealed brand New 3 Disc DVD set Our SKU R-78--6oz Season one of How to Be Indie first premiered on October 2, 2009 on YTV. The series follows the comical exploits of teenager Indira "Indie" Mehta, her patriotic parents from India, two best friends Abi and Marlon and the numerous daily events which result in Indie being in some sort of trouble. The title of each episode begins with 'How to', which is also the first two words of the series title. Season one was produced by the Heroic Film Company and was distributed across the world by DHX Media. The first season achieved large success in Australia on ABC3, the first thirteen episodes aired in late 2009 and the remaining thirteen airing in mid-2010, the programme itself was a flagship series for the digital multi-channel.
