The craftwork evokes creativity in simplicity. Dhokra metal casting is done by traditional method called lost-wax technique in which a model of the desired product is prepared with wax and clay and the artistic patterns are designed in the first place and the casting is done by manual process. Post the casting and cooling the motifs are cleaned and then polished using fine wire brushes (motorized). The overall process requires a good degree of manual effort and patience.
