Antique Real Photo Postcard. Identified as a winter snow-covered scene on Washington Street in Hanson, Massachusetts. A group of seven children stand in front of a building with a circular Texaco Motor Oil sign above, and a Texaco gas pump on the corner. This building, which displays the US flag, appears to have a sign reading "Holbrook," or "The Holbrook," although the town of Holbrook is about 10 miles to the northwest. Two other buildings to the left, including a school house, are also depicted. Divided back, postmarked 1936, although this card appears to have been published earlier, possibly in the 1920s. Condition: This is an original photo postcard, not a copy or reproduction. It is in excellent condition. Comments: Hanson is a town in Plymouth County, Massachusetts, United States. Part of Greater Boston, Hanson is located 20 miles south of Boston and is one of the inland towns of the South Shore.
