These handmade copper earrings are long rectangles with wire wrapped metallic purple iris glass beads. The rectangle frames are carefully shaped and hammered by hand to strengthen. Then fine gauge wire is used to wire wrap four rows of metallic purple iris glass beads to the bottom of the frame.The ear wires are also handmade out of copper wire. These earrings have a very artistic and modern look sure to get you noticed. Drop length is ~2 1/2” from the piercing and ~3/8” wide. It is not treated with a lacquer or wax. Copper naturally oxidizes over time and develops a patina. Some people love that look and some prefer to keep it shiny. Slow the oxidization process by wiping your copper jewelry with a soft clean cloth before and after each use to keep it clean. You can easily clean oxidized copper jewelry and return it to bright and shiny by soaking it in a mixture of lemon juice and salt for 30-60 seconds, rinse with water, and dry. Try it with a penny.
