This Advertising measures 12 by 9 inches and has a hook on the back for easy display. The back of the carving explains “Miss Sunbeam represents a unique corporation. Quality Bakers of America, Inc. the nation’s largest bakery cooperative, was formed in 1922 by Ivan Nordheim, as Bakers Service bureau, Inc. an association of independent bakers from around the country whose member shared costs of production, sales, service, engineering, advertising and purchasing. The advertisement describes Miss Sunbeam as the beautiful daughter of no less than 87 proud daddies. This character was created and illustrated by Ellen Segner, a well-known New York artist of the time.
