This is a lovely decorative carved wooden vase from Jamaica. It has vertical lines carved in various lengths around the top and the bottom in a tribal sort of primitive folk art pattern. The color gradient goes from a nice shade of red at the top to a very dark shade of red that is black around the bottom. It flares out at the top and the bottom. I don't know what kind of wood it is, but it sure is very lightweight. The Jamaican vase is approximately 7-1/2" tall and it's about 3" diameter at the top and the bottom. Good Condition with some light wear and imperfections.
