GUARD OF HONOR by James Gould Cozzens Perma Books, First Paperback Printing, 1952 GENERAL BILLY MITCHELL: CHAMPION OF AIR DEFENSE by Roger Burlingame - Signet Books, First Pb printing, 1956 Condition of both: Good+ HONOR is a suspenseful Pulitzer Prize-winning novel about men and women of the U.S. Army Air Force during World War II. MITCHELL is the biography of the Army general who was court-martialed while fearlessly fighting to create an independent air force (and is a movie tie-in). Both books have spine wear and/or tears at the spine ends, modest wear on extremities, light cover creasing page toning. GUARD also shows some moisture staining on page edges. But bindings on both are secure and there are no markings.
