Published in May of 1930, the magazine is known as "The Golden Book magazine" and features a Constance Wheeler cover. It contains articles by Robert Louis Stevenson, Hugh Walpole, Anton Chekhov, Lewis Carroll, Stephen Vincent Benet, Frank Luther Mott, William M. Thackeray and Ambrose Bierce. It has four wonderful color pages of railroad advertisments. The covers have pulled loose from the spine. Otherwise, it is in good condition with no writing in it and no missing pages.
