Item description

Description 100% Brand New and high quality. Features: Common names of Citrus maxima: pummelos, shaddocks, and Chinese grapefruit. Pummelo is the largest citrus fruit from the family Rutaceae. Like other pomelos, Chandlers are very large for citrus. Chandlers are particularly large and round, with a yellow to yellow-pink rind. Pomelos are extremely high in Vitamin C, and Chandlers are no exception. They also contain potassium, magnesium, Vitamin B6, and dietary fiber. Their dietary properties efreshing and satisfying flavor! The slight bitterness comes from the pith/ white part, which is bitter in all varieties of Pomelo fruit. 1. First re-hydrate seed in a damp towel for 12 hours. 2. Combine equal parts peat moss, loam and some sand. Put potting mixture in 3"-4" pots (biodegradable pots work well for starting seeds as the entire pot can be placed inside a bigger pot once the seedling sprouts without disturbing the plant). 3. Water the potting medium and allow the water to fully absorb before planting the seed. 4. Make 1/2" oval holes and place 2 seeds in each hole (next to each other but not touching or overlapping). 5. Lightly cover the seeds with soil and water a little more. 6. Place containers in a warm, sunny place (sunny south or west facing window if starting indoors). Full-sun: 8+ hrs of full-sun/day. 7. Keep soil moist but NOT soggy to avoid rot. Germination can take up to 2 months. Package Includes: 1 bag Seeds
