John McClane (Bruce Willis) hears that his estranged son is in trouble and goes to Moscow to help him, unaware that his offspring, Jack (Jai Courtney), is a CIA operative trying to protect a controversial figure (Sebastian Koch) who's got a computer file of volitile information.
McClane and his unwilling son turn out to be a good team in this cartoonish action yarn. The 2013 McClane is a superhero, bullet-dodging, building-jumping, superman with the almost nonstop mayhem--including car and truck chases, building explosions, bullet-ridden gunfire, and people hurtling through plate-glass windows!
