Don't let a defective radio keep you from enjoying your vehicle. Get your replacement CD MP3 mechanism from ReplacementRadios. If you're in need of a drive for the radio in your 2005+ GM vehicle and your drive is part number 28007480-B, you've come to the right place. This drive will fix most problems with CD Error messages, Bad Disc messages, noisy operation, or basic load and eject failures. This is a brand new CD MP3 drive mechanism (mech), removed from a brand new radio that was parted specifically to obtain these drives. This can ONLY be used in Delco (Delphi) manufactured GM CD MP3 radios with the drive part number 28007480-B. We have provided a picture of the drive, as well as the part number. It is in your best interest to pop the top off your radio and make sure this is the drive you have because there are other versions that are NOT compatible. It is easily identified once you have the top off your radio. Instructions for installation or removal are not included. If you do not feel comfortable attempting this replacement or are not qualified to perform the replacement you should seek an electronics shop that will do it for you or ask us about sending it in for us to do it. We can tell you that you MUST disconnect the negative battery terminal (or remove the plugs from the back of the radio) and let it sit for at least 60 minutes BEFORE you attempt to do any work on the radio. Failure to do so can result in a short within the radio. We've had many reports of it from people who ignored this caution. Don't be one of them!! APPLICATIONS GM used several radio manufacturers and all the parts were different for each. This drive was used in some (but not all) Delco Delphi radios from 2005-2009, at a minimum. We know it was offered in the 15804641 Delco Delphi CD MP3 radio in the 2005-2009 Saab 9-7X, as well as single CD MP3 radios in the 2006-2010 Hummer H3, but that doesn't mean it works in all the radios!! Pop the top off your radio and make sure your drive looks identical to this one and has part number 28007480-B. Make sure you re-read this ad and understand what you're getting.
