Item description

A few years ago, we had the sincere pleasure of attending a private estate sale at a grorgeous property located in the Hollywood Hills, belonging to the late Bernard Wiesen and His Partner Don Roberts; two film and tv Directors, Producers, Executives, Director?s of Art and Art Departments, (etc) in Hollywood for many years. It was hands down one of the greatest estates/estate auctions we?ve EVER been to. It was private to us for days at a time, until we just could not fit anymore things in our vehicle bungalow.... but we did anyhow. ...Not only was the property as mentioned ABSOLUTELY gorgeous, it?s late inhabitants had the most impeccable taste in theatre, art, wine, music, architecture, books, travel (and so on). From works of famous artists like the Dalí, to personal gifts from good friends whom on any given party occasion would come by and hang out, like Vincent Price, or the personal Christmas letter signed by all the children from the film the King and I.... You can sense a very refined and worldly taste as soon as you opened that heavy wooden door with a stain glass peephole that depicted a lit candle near a book and spider with its web from 1922.... it is/was deemed an absolute blessing as well as a godsend. We rescued so many valuable bits of history that it was necessary to catalog. Now that we have finally finished cataloging everything we are now offering a large portion of these rare, vintage, works of art and little blessings unto you! ********************************** And now, without further ado, for your consideration and approval: RARE 12 3/4?x9 3/4?
