8x10 in. U.S. single-weight glossy copy
photograph, very fine+ condition.
Based upon the famous novel by Vicente Blasco Ibáñez, director Rex Ingram's THE FOUR HORSEMEN OF THE APOCALYPSE became
one of the best and most popular films of 1921 as well as of 1920's. The image
depicts a close shot of young Julio Desnoyers (Rudolph Valentino), wearing the uniform of a French soldier during
World War I, tenderly kissing the hand of his lover, Marguerite Laurier (Alice Terry), who is married to a very
good friend of his father's. Valentino's outstanding performance in this epic
silent film drama made him a star. This glossy copy photograph is in very fine+
condition without any flaws.
THE RUDOLPH VALENTINO COLLECTION is a collection of high-quality 8x10 in. copy
photographs that were printed by a professional photo laboratory from a dupe
negative of primarily vintage original photographs (as well as some later
vintage copy photographs) from our archive of over 1,500 photos relating to
silent film legend Rudolph Valentino.
