Item description

This book contains a compiled listing of those persons whose names were noted in the local newspapers as leaving Mifflin County. A typical listing in this book consists of: the person's name, what part of the county they were formerly from, where they live now, a relationship to others who still live in the county, when they left the county and a bit of information about why their name was in the newspaper. In many cases the listings in this book are exactly as they were printed in the paper. The final part of a typical entry is the date of the paper followed by the page and column number. The index is a listing of the names as they were spelled in the newspaper followed by the page number on which the entry may be found in the book.
