This Australian Falcon/Fairlane C4-C10 Column Bush FULL KIT Suits: Falcon/Fairmont XR, XT, XW, XY, XA, XB V8 fitted with a C4-C10 automatic transmission. Falcon/Fairmont XY, XA, XB 250 2V six cylinder fitted with a C9 automatic transmission. Fairlane ZA, ZB, ZC, ZD, ZF, ZG V8 fitted with a C4-C10 automatic transmission. This kit offers following benefits over the original factory items: 1. They last longer: The plastic bushes are hand turned using top quality plastic that will not need lubrication (though I would recommended greasing the shaft during initial assembly) they should out last the factory rubber items. 2. They will NOT ROT: Unlike the original rubber bushes the plastic bushes WILL NOT rot as a result of exposure from oil, road grim or radiant transmission and exhaust heat. 3. More precise shifting: Everything is hand turned to closer tolerances then the factory parts which ensures a crisper, more precise shift feel and the longest possible service life for the parts. All parts are manufactured in a climate controlled building to ISO 9001 certification! Put simply these bushes are SUPERIOR to what Ford originally fitted to these cars and these bushes should NEVER wear out! Note: This kit is engineered for peak performance and therefore the outside of the bushes are 0.5mm larger in diameter so it can be pressed into the eye using a vice backed by a large socket, to keep end play to a minimum and compensate for any wear in the eye in the event of pro-longed metal to metal contact with the selector shaft.
