If planting in a pot, it is suggested to let the soil stay on the dryer side before re-watering. Prune in late winter or early spring. Apply a general purpose fertilizer (a 10-10-10 or 10-30-10) once a year. If planting in the ground, apply mulch to stamp out any weeds or grass. Germination Procedure: Surface-sow the seeds on top of moist soil. Refrain from covering the seeds as the seeds need sunlight to germinate.
