The poem is laser engraved and can be done with gold or silver text. They are ideal for framing, where you can place the poem on one side, and your pet?s picture on the other, use in a collage or on an urn. The plate has pressure sensitive adhesive on the back, so you just peel and stick, if needed. These also make a beautiful and heartfelt gift for someone you know that is grieving. The poem can be done in singular or plural version, replacing the words "we" with the word "I" and vice versa. If your pet was a non-paw print pet, or if you want to have this done for a human, you can choose to have the border done in hearts instead of paw prints. Please include either of these requests when you send your engraving information or they will be engraved as shown in the samples. If this is being done for a human, we also need to know that so we can change any text as necessary. Your pet's name and date of death will be engraved on the plate. If your pet's name was five letters or less, we can put it inside the heart shape, if desired. For pets with names that had six or more letters, the name and date will be engraved in the lower right corner on the 5x7 and 8x10. The names will be engraved BELOW the heart on the 3x5 or 4x6 plates. If your pet's name is going outside of the heart, we can include the date of birth if you'd like.
