(2) Two Antique Carte de Visite (CDV) Photos. Identified as Edwin Jason Smith. Younger photo taken in a studio in Brooklyn, New York. The second photo, most likely taken at the age of high school graduation, was by M.O.T. Coleman studio in Westfield, Massachusetts. Edwin Jason Smith was born February 21, 1857 and died April 24, 1934. He was the son of Denison (or Dennison) J. Smith (1826-1884) and Mary Wells Smith (1831-1888). He had a brother Livingston Newell Smith (1854-1916). He is buried in Pine Hill Cemetery in Westfield, Massachusetts. He was married on October 28, 1885 to Annie Brightwood Newell. She was the daughter of Joseph and Sarah Newell. She was born November 7, 1862 and died November 3, 1947. She is also buried in Pine Hill Cemetery. They had at least two children named Livingston Newell Smith (1886-1953) and Harold Wells Smith (1890-1974.) Measure approximately 2.5 x 4.25 including mount. Condition: These are original photographs, not a copy or reproduction. They are in excellent condition.
