Antique Folder-Style Cabinet Card Photograph. Identified as Dorothy Carolyn Nietzer (Schiller). Photo by Jeannette studio, Brooklyn, New York. Measures approximately 7.25 x 11 including mount. Condition: This is an original photograph, not a copy or reproduction. The photo is in excellent condition. The right side of the double-flap cover is separated. Comments: Dorothy's online obituary dated 1915: Dorothy Carolyn Schiller, daughter of Charles and Bertha Nietzer, passed away unexpectedly on August 28, 2015 at the age of 96. She was born on January 17, 1919 in Jeffersonville, New York. After living in Queens, Long Island, Newark, New York, and Florida, she moved to Lake Placid in 1988 and resided there ever since. Dorothy is survived by her son Robert Schiller, daughter-in-law Cheryl Schiller, granddaughter Christine Lawas and husband Thomas Gill, and granddaughter Carrie Westergard. She is also survived by great granddaughter Claire Westergard, and great grandson's Zachary Lawas, Lucas Lawas, and Chase Westergard. She was also survived by sister-in-law Evelyn Nietzer, and step grandchildren Eli Lawas, Matthew Gill, and Erin Gill. Dorothy is predeceased by her loving husband, Carl F. Schiller who passed away in 1985.
