DEF Level sensor Simulator ( Digital ) A Must for any owner of any Cummins Engine 2016 and up. ECM 2350/2450.Works On 2017 and up CAT confirmed. Works on all Paccar product . Works With 24 volts systems ( Please let me know for 24volt ) NOT FOR DODGE This is a Tool to be used in the event that your DEF Level in tank Sensor Fails. This will cause Derate fault code ( STOP Engine Light ) and 5MPH max speed there after. SPN 3364 FMI 9 (Cummins fault code 3868) - Aftertreatment diesel exhaust fluid quality- Abnormal update rate. SPN 1761 FMI 9 (Cummins fault code 4677) - Aftertreatment diesel exhaust tank level - Abnormal update rate. SPN 3031 FMI 9 (Cummins fault code 4572) - Aftertreatment diesel exhaust fluid tank temperature- Abnormal update rate. Just unplug the DEF tank Sensor ( 4 Pin deutsch connector ) and plug in the bypass tool. Make sure that before you unplug your def level sensor that the ignition is turned off, then unplug your def level Tank sensor. Locate the connector for the DEF level sensor. 2. Plug the DEF ByPass Tool into the connection to your chassis wiring where the def Level sensor was plugged in. Should be 4 pin Deutsch male. If the connector is TE brand then its supplied in this kit (Freightliner) UPON REQUEST 3. Turn on your ignition, some or all of the fault codes should go away and the Check Engine and MIL (Malfunction Indicator Lamp) lights should extinguish within a few minutes. 4. THIS TOOL DOES NOT DELETE OR STOP THE EMMISSION SYSTEM FROM WORKING In FACT it works normal tail pipe output is no different from the OEM in tank sensor. You will have the ability to make your TRIP without worry. Tool provides simulated DEF tank level so you must keep it full.. No 5 MPH driving on the Freeway with your 4 ways on!
