Vintage 50s/60s DUZ Detergent 'Star Sapphire' Goblets. These glasses were promo items packed in boxes of powdered laundry detergent by Proctor Gamble. Made in U.S.A. by Libbey. These simply elegant glasses are a beautiful iridescent pale blue with clean lines and a star pattern on the base. The goblet holds 10 fluid ounces. It measures 6-5/8" tall including the 1-1/2" solid stem. The goblet is 2-3/4" wide and sits on a 2-7/8" base. Each goblet weighs 7.5 ozs. This collection of 24 glasses have never been used. Four are still in their original boxes, although one box is coming unglued (see photos). A lovely addition to any dining experience. In excellent condition.
