Item description

Brand new factory sealed 2-tape vhs box set. A three hour epic in three major movements. It is a progression from a wedding to a funeral. It begins with men at work and the socializing at a local saloon. Then a wedding and the party at the American Legion Hall. 25 minutes in, Vietnam suddenly occupies the screen with a wall of noise. This is the second movement and about the experiences the three friends have their. At the center comes the now infamous Russian roulette scene they are forced to play as POWs. Then finally, at home back in the states, DeNiro learns that Walken is still in Vietnam so he goes back to retreive him. Neither pro nor anti-war but rather a look at the people who fought in it and how it changed their lives.
