Crystal White Wax Onion (Allium cepa), better known as the Pearl Onion or Pickling Onion, is originally from the island of Bermuda. Hence, also known as "White Bermuda". This onion is excellent for stews and soups and will produce small, round to slightly flattened bulbs that are best harvested when they are 1" - 1.5" in diameter (90-120 days). If you prefer full-size bulbs, allow the bulbs to mature 150-180 days. This onion is short day type and is disease resistant.
