Item description

Beautiful powdercoated metal fabricated business card holder with ceramic tile accent featuring a silvervein finish on the metal and a blue-green accent tile. These business card holders are a collaboration of Carol Bell (Ceramic Artist) and Marc Gaiger (Metal Artist). Their one-of-a-kind pieces feature assorted shapes, powdercoated color finishes and faux painting with handmade ceramic tile that has incredible glazes. Measures 4-1/2" wide x 4" high. Starting with raw steel Marc cold bends, hot forges and fabricates then welds the pieces together. Carol starts with stoneware clay which is rolled and hand cut into tiles. After drying the tiles for a week they are bisque fired then sprayed and hand decorated with custom formulated glazes and fired to over 2300 degrees. When finished they adorn Marc's powdercoated metal creations.
