Measures 8-1/2" X 11", two two-sided sheets, corner-stapled, probably photocopies, issue Vol. 1, No. 7 (October/November 1985), by The Society for Decorative Plastics (CA).
This was a short-lived, kitchen-table 'zine published by my old employers at Eclipse Comics in California, as amongst their many hobbies was acquiring old plastic jewelry, plates, clocks, radios, etc. COLLECTIBLE PLASTICS filled a niche in the collectors market in a time when knowledge of the history of these items was rather scarce, and was an avenue for individual collectors and/or groups to pool their information across the United States.
This issue is largely devoted to the Catalin scotty figurals of the 1930s and 1940s.
WARNING -- THE PAGES WERE PRINTED AND STAPLED OUT OF SEQUENCE, SO IT READS "PAGE 1, PAGE 4, PAGE 2, PAGE 3."
Shipping charges include postage (including USPS Tracking on domestic shipments), packaging materials, labor and fuel (the nearest post office is 14 MILES away!); but I do combine shipping charges on multiple items -- so fill up that cart NOW an' save some $$$!
