The thermos bottle of Cartier is mainly in 14 carat gold and is provided with a handle. The bulbous body stands on a round, recessed foot, decorated with an ornamental trim. On the white golden neck sits a yellow golden lid that closes the flask with its attached cork. The thermal glass keeps the temperature of any beverage while it is contributing to the weight of the vessel. Especially nice is the filigree, ornate emblem on the center of the body. These vessels were mostly produced in the United States and served as gifts for customers. Mainly these cans were made in silver, so the golden one is very rare as well as the hallmark 'Cartier.' Usually these 'giveaways' were provided only with the purity mark, so here we have a rarely beautiful and precious exception of Cartier's thermos bottles. The jug is hallmarked on the bottom with 'Cartier 14 KT'. It is in good condition with minimal signs of age and wear as well as a minor dent on the lid. The vessel is 20 cm high and 13 cm wide with handle. The weight is circa 754 grams.
